Dr Bikash is the first and only doctor in Nepal with MD degree in Palliative Medicine. With strong academic background from AIIMS, New Delhi, he is compassionate and caring physician.He is expert in Pain management, End of life care and supportive managements, psychosocial and spiritual care. He is expert in providing palliative care to patients with various chronic life limiting disease. Along with educating patients and their families about stress management, zeal to live a meaningful life, spiritual counseling; Dr Bikash has skills to solace and fill positive life spirit in patients and their family, specially at terminal stage.
Palliative medicine helps in treating effects of disease like pain, difficulty sleeping, depression, shortness of breath, fatigue, constipation, loss of appetite and nausea and other symptoms of destress.
