About Dr. Gerim Prasai

Dr. Gerim Prasai is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Kathmandu Cancer Center. She earned her MD from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) and completed advanced fellowship training at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi – India’s leading dedicated cancer centre. Her practice is focused on evidence‑based, high‑precision radiation therapy, including IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and image‑guided brachytherapy (IGBT).

Dr. Prasai’s clinical focus centres on breast cancer, uterine cancer, lymphoma, and other pelvic malignancies. She works closely with the KCC Multidisciplinary Tumour Board to integrate radiation with systemic therapies and surgery, ensuring each patient receives a coordinated, protocol‑driven treatment plan. Her goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, combining technical precision with compassionate, patient‑centred communication.
