Dr. Sangam Rayamajhi

Dr. Sangam Rayamajhi is the Head of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cosmetic Surgery at Nepal Mediciti and a consultant at Kathmandu Cancer Center. He holds an MCh in Plastic Surgery from the Institute of Medicine (IOM), TUTH.

His expertise is vital in oncology, where he performs complex reconstructive procedures following major cancer surgeries, particularly for head and neck, breast, and skin cancers. He is also a leader in cosmetic surgery in Nepal.

Dr. Sangam has a significant research background, with publications focusing on the evolving trends of plastic surgery in Nepal and the role of reconstructive surgery in trauma and disaster management.

Dr. Sangam focuses on the dual goals of restoring both the appearance and the function of body parts affected by cancer or surgery. He works closely with oncosurgeons to plan reconstructions as part of the primary cancer treatment.
