About Dr. Abish Adhikari
Dr. Abish Adhikari has been a cornerstone of the radiation oncology department at Kathmandu Cancer Center since 2019. With over 1,700 radiotherapy cases and 2,000 brachytherapy procedures, he is recognized for his technical precision and patient-centered approach.
He completed his MD from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) and has since focused on specialized techniques like surface moulds and interstitial brachytherapy. His work in neuro-oncology is well-regarded, including the authorship of book chapters in international publications.
Dr. Abish is also deeply involved in the academic community, serving as an editor for medical journals and contributing to the development of national palliative care protocols through NAPCARE.
